Four books, and the reason each one was made.
We had eleven thousand photographs and no idea what to do with them. The book arrived and my mother cried at page four, which is the page with her mother in it.
I scanned the code on the last page expecting a gimmick. It was the video of his first steps. I have watched it more times than I will admit here.
Four generations, one afternoon, one book. It sits on the table and everyone who visits opens it. Nobody has ever opened our Google Photos.
The lay-flat binding is what sold me. A two-page spread of the backwaters with no gutter running through the middle of it — that is the whole trip, right there.

How long does a book take?
Ten to fourteen days from the day you approve the design. Most of that is printing and binding. The design itself usually takes three days, and revisions are quick because we work over WhatsApp.
How many photos and videos can I include?
A book holds up to 40 pages and sits best with 60 to 80 photographs. Send everything you have and we will make the selection with you. Up to five videos are included, each printed as a small QR code beside the photograph it belongs to.
What is the difference between Magazine, Photobook and Lay-flat?
Magazine is slim and soft-bound. Photobook is the classic hardcover with thick pages. Lay-flat is a hardcover whose spreads open completely flat, so a single photograph can run across both pages with no gutter.
Which paper do you print on?
A4 pages on 200gsm paper, matte or glossy. Glossy pages can be laminated, which makes them waterproof and tear-resistant. We will suggest a paper once we have seen your photographs.
How do I send my photos?
On WhatsApp, as an album, or as a Google Drive or iCloud link. Send the whole dump. Sorting it is our job, not yours. There is no app to install and no upload portal.
What is a print you can watch?
A small code printed inside your book. Point a phone camera at it and a video you chose starts playing: the speeches, the first steps, the noise of the day that a photograph cannot hold.
Can I customise the cover and title?
Yes. Choose the cover photograph and the words on the front. If you want something we do not offer as standard, ask. Most requests are possible.
What if I do not like the design?
You see the full layout before anything is printed, and revisions are free until you approve it. Nothing goes to the press without your yes.
Do you work from phone photos?
Almost every book we make is built from phone photos. Modern phone cameras print beautifully at A4. We will tell you if a specific image is too small for a full-page spread.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes, to every serviceable pincode, in a rigid protective box. Delivery is included. International shipping is quoted separately.
Can I gift a book?
Yes. We send a gift card with a code and a note from you. The person you are gifting messages us the code, shares their photos, and we make the book with them.
What happens to my photos afterwards?
They are used to make your book and nothing else, stored securely while we work, and deleted after delivery unless you ask us to keep them for a reprint. The privacy chapter above has the detail.
Can I order more than one copy?
Yes, and most people do. One for you, one for each set of parents. Additional copies of the same book cost less than the first; ask on WhatsApp.
